USE OF THE BURNER
The burner is a fully automatic
burner; it is activated by closing
the isolating switch and the control
box switch; Burner operation is
controlled by control and monitoring
devices as stated in the chapter
"Description of operation".
The "lock-out" position is a safety
position automatically taken up by the
burner when a burner component or
the electric equipment is inefficient;
before connecting the "released"
burner again, it is good practice
to make sure that no defects exist
in heating plant. The burner can
remain in a lock-out" position without
any time limit. To reset the burner,
press the appropriate push-button.
"Lock-out" can be caused also by

transient flaws (a little water in the
fuel, air in the pipes, etc.); if reset,
the burner will start up normally.
When "lock-out" occur repeatedly do
not try to start, first check if there is
fuel in the tank and then call the local
service to repair the defect.
MAINTENANCE
The burner requires no special
maintenance, but it is good practice
to perform the following operation at
least at the end of heating season:
1) Remove and throughly wash with
solvents (petrol, trichoethylene,
oil) the filters, the nozzles, the
turbolator disk and the ignition
electrodes. When cleaning the
nozzle, avoid using metal tools
(use wood or plastic).
