The Hydrostop ring determines how the shock
absorber behaves in end position and resistance to
C
the fork's impact.
- Remove the protection from the front brake disc
( p.88).
- Turn the adjustment element
far as it will go.
- Turn the adjustment element
number of rotations as set forth in the table below.
Standard
Turn clockwise to reduce shock absorption of the
Hydrostop ring; shock absorption in end position
and resistance to impact decrease.
Turn anticlockwise to increase shock absorption of the
Hydrostop ring; shock absorption in end position and
resistance to impact increase.
Adjusting shock absorption under compression
influences the fork's behaviour while sagging.
- Turn the adjustment element
far as it will go.
- Turn the adjustment element
the number of rotations as set forth in the table
below.
Standard
Turning anticlockwise reduces shock absorption
during sag, while turning clockwise increases shock
absorption.
