This engine was built with absolute precision. The
parts have correct tolerances and surfaces.
TIP
Even so, SHERCO advises that you use the engine gently and not
force it during the first hour of use.
For a cold start-up, please proceed as follows:
- Set the gear selector to neutral.
- Activate the choke ( p.67).
- Set the fuel tap to ON.
- Use the kick start pedal to start the engine
( p.66).
- Deactivate the starter (1 km maximum).
WARNING
Do not circulate with the starter ACTIVATED. Once you have travelled
an approximate distance of 1 km, DEACTIVATE the starter.
For a hot start-up, please proceed as follows:
- Set the gear selector to neutral.
- Check that the starter is DEACTIVATED ( p.67).
- Set the fuel tap to ON.
- Start the engine.
