Proceed as follows to prepare the appliance for operation using the continu-
ous shredder 8:

Press down the release button o and
move the swivel arm t up into operating
position 2.
Insert the mixing bowl 7.
The base of the mixing bowl 7 must click
into the recesses u on the appliance.
Press down the release button o and
move the swivel arm t into the horizontal
position 1.
Remove the drive protection cover for the
continuous shredder 8.
Fit the continuous shredder 8 onto the
drive opening (aligning the
the continuous shredder 8 with the
marking on the swivel arm t).
Turn it anticlockwise until the continuous
shredder 8 clicks firmly in place (and the
marking on the continuous shredder 8
is aligned with the
