• After steam cooking, exercise great caution
when opening the lid to avoid being scalded
by residual steam coming from the tank. Fai-
lure to observe this precaution may pose a
danger to the operator.
REMINDERS FOR
TECHNICIAN
• Read this manual carefully. It provides impor-
tant information for safe installation, use and
maintenance of the appliance.
• Appliance maintenance must be carried out
by qualified technicians authorized by the ma-
nufacturer, in compliance with current safety
standards and the instructions in this manual.
• Identify the specific appliance model. The mo-
del number is detailed on the packaging and
on the appliance data plate.
• The appliance must be installed in a well-ven-
tilated room.
• Do not obstruct any air vents or drains present
on the appliance.
• Do not tamper with appliance components.

REMINDERS FOR CLEANING

• Clean the satin-finish stainless steel outer
surfaces on a daily basis.
• At least twice a year, have an authorized tech-
nician clean the internal parts of the applian-
ce.
• Do not use direct or high pressure water jets
to clean the appliance.
• Do not use corrosive products to clean the flo-
or beneath the appliance.

STORAGE

• If the appliance is stored at a temperature of
below 5°C (41°F), before switching on bring
it back to a temperature of at least +10°C (
50°F).

3 SAFETY AND CONTROL DEVICES

The manufacturer will not be liable for any
damage or injury resulting from failure to
observe the following rules.
MICROSWITCHES
• The appliance is equipped with a microswitch
for lifting the tank.
• The appliance is equipped with travel limit mi-
croswitches which automatically interrupt tank

movement on completion of lifting and lowe-
ring operations.
• The appliance is equipped with a microswitch
which prevents the tank from being filled with
water until the lid is fully open and the tank
fully lowered.

SAFETY THERMOSTAT

• The appliance is equipped with a manual re-
set safety thermostat which interrupts heating
when the operating temperature exceeds the
maximum permitted value.
• Depending on the circumstances, to reset the
appliance press the thermostat reset button or
proceed as indicated on the display. This pro-
cedure must only be carried out by a qualified,
authorized technician.
PRESSURE TANK SAFETY VALVE
• The appliance is equipped with an automa-
tic safety valve, positioned at the rear of the
appliance, which discharges steam built up
inside the appliance when pressure exceeds
15kPa ( 0.15 BAR).
• The appliance is equipped with an operating
valve, positioned on the lid, which discharges
steam built up in the tank when pressure ap-
proaches 13kPa ( 0,13 BAR).
4 DISPOSAL OF PACKAGING AND THE AP-
PLIANCE
4.1 PACKAGING
The packaging is made using environmentally
friendly materials. The plastic recyclable com-
ponents are:
• the transparent cover, the bags containing the
instructions manual ( made of Polyethylene -
PE).
• the straps (in Polypropylene - PP).
4.2 APPLIANCE
The appliance is manufactured 90% from
recyclable metals (stainless steel, aluminum
sheet, copper.... ).
The appliance must be scrapped in compliance
with current regulations governing such dispo-
sal.
• It must be disposed of properly.
• Make the appliance unusable before scrap-
ping.
