Prepare your computer
to
communicate
with the
printer
If you have an ASCll text editor, you may want to use it instead of Edlin to enter the correct MODE
commands. You must be able to save your
AUTOEXEC.BAT
file as a standard ASCII text file.
If your parallel port has a name other than "LPT1" or "LPT2 - or if your serial port has a name other
than "COM1 or COM2 - substitute that name in the examples below.
