MIRROR SHUTTER ASSEMBLY
The Mirror Shutier Assembly (Figure 6-41) is lomted above the Erase hp Assembly near the
top of the opened Top Cover &sembly.

Open the Top Cover Assembly and remove the EP-S Cartridge.
Remove the Mirror Shutir Assembly mounting screws (3) shown in Figure 6-41.
TWe care not to touch or otherwise damage the mirror when removing the Mirror Shutier
Assembly.
caution
men handling the Mirror Assembly, be wrefrd not to touch the mirror's surface
or allow it to be scratched (it is a "first-surface" mirror). If the mirror must be
cleaned, use a so% dean, damp, lint-free wipe with a cleaning fluid approved for
camera lenses. See Chapter 4, Section 4-4, "Cleaning the Printer."
