determine the ideal cut size for your
working conditions, always follow
the advice of expert animal feed
technicians.

4.10- Number of rotor knives

The chopping rotors of the harvester are
designed to chop with 12, 6, 4 or 3 knives on
each rotor. The quantity of knives used should
take into account the following aspects:
ƒ Crop (type, age, etc);
ƒ Purpose of harvest (silage, daily treatment);
ƒ Tractor power;
ƒ Cutting size desired.
It is recommended for:
Harvesting corn and sorghum: 12 knives.
Harvesting sugar cane and elephant grass: 4 or 6
knives. This is not a rule, just a suggestion. Your
Harvester leaves the factory with 12 knives
each rotor
