Parking brake transport lock
Qw W
If the vehicle is delivered without a battery or with an uncharged battery, the
transport lock (2xM5) must be removed prior to placing the vehicle into
operation. The transport lock is used to lock the pressure spring that activates
the parking brake so that the vehicle is not braked when there is no power. It
consists of two screws that are screwed into the magnetic brake (on the drive
motor). This keeps the pressure spring from activating the brake.
Removing the transport locks:
– Open
the
compartment (hexagonal wrench).
– Disconnect the two-pole plug on the
magnetic brake.
– Unscrew the brake loosening screws
from the magnetic brake and screw
them into the holes in the driving plate.
The brake is not engaged without power.
Without the battery, the vehicle cannot
be pushed.
– Connect the two-pole plug to the
magnetic brake.
– Close the engine compartment.
– Install and connect the battery.
– Turn on the EMERGENCY OFF switch and switch latch.
The vehicle is now ready for use.
