Connecting batteries with a capacity of 24 Ah
Requirements:
– The mains fuse provided on site is open.
– Battery fuses 3F3 and 3F4 are removed from the recharging device.
– Screw caps for battery fuses 3F3 and 3F4 are mounted to the fuse holders.
– The following battery cables are already connected (condition on delivery):

– The medium black battery cables, which are used for connecting the batteries in different battery
compartments, are already installed in the distribution board beneath the battery compartments.

1.
Insert 2 batteries in each battery compartment.
Note

The battery connections face forward.
·
The negative terminal of the battery shows on the left side, and the
positive terminal on the right side.
·
The remaining 6 batteries are not placed in the battery compartments
until later.

Number the batteries as shown in the figure.
3.
Label the negative terminal of battery 1 with the minus sticker.
4.
Label the positive terminal of battery 18 with the plus sticker.
5.
Connect the long black battery cable already connected to the recharging
device at terminal BAT.- to the negative terminal of battery 1.
6.
Connect the long red battery cable already connected to the recharging
device at terminal BAT.+ to the positive terminal of battery 18.
7.
Connect the batteries to each other as follows:

The positive terminal of the battery cable is labelled with a red heat-
shrinkable sleeve and the negative terminal with a black heat-
shrinkable sleeve.
