9. Insert one battery in the centre of each battery compartment.

The battery connections face forward.

The negative terminal of the battery shows on the left side, and the
positive terminal on the right side.
10. Number the batteries as shown in the figure.
11. Connect the batteries to each other as follows:

The positive terminal of the battery cable is labelled with a red heat-
shrinkable sleeve and the negative terminal with a black heat-
shrinkable sleeve.

13. Record the installation date on the supplied black/silver sticker, sign the
sticker and place on the main distribution unit so it can be seen clearly.
