8. Push the batteries that are already in the battery compartments out to the left or
to the right.
9. Insert 3 batteries each in the centre of battery compartments 1 and 2.
10. Insert 2 batteries each in the centre of battery compartments 3 and 4.

The battery connections face forward.

The positive terminal of the battery shows on the left side, and the
negative terminal on the right side.
11. Number the batteries as shown in the figure.
12. Connect the batteries to each other as follows:

The positive terminal of the battery cable is labelled with a red heat-
shrinkable sleeve and the negative terminal with a black heat-shrinkable
sleeve.
