Preparation

Before starting the installation process for the devices in your eBox system, ensure that the following requirements
have been met:
– The mains fuse provided on site is open.
– Battery fuses 3F3 and 3F4 are removed from the recharging device.
– Screw caps for battery fuses 3F3 and 3F4 are mounted to the fuse holders.
– The internal sub-distribution unit is already connected to the main distribution unit. (condition on delivery)
– There are no batteries in the battery space. (condition on delivery)

Preparatory measures

Before connecting the individual devices of your eBox system, carry out the following preparatory measures in the
main distribution unit:

Open the inspection window of the main distribution unit.

Remove the cover from the main distribution unit.

Remove the battery compartment cover.
w
In the main distribution unit, remove the covers at the top and bottom.

Connecting an external sub-distribution unit

The eBox system is supplied with an internal sub-distribution unit as standard. The eBox system can be extended
by four external sub-distribution units. To connect an external sub-distribution unit, an ONLITE central eBox SCM
must first be installed in the main distribution unit. Then the external sub-distribution unit is connected. Connection
differs depending on the type of sub-distribution unit.

When assembling and installing the device, the voltage supply must be disconnected.

Work can only be carried out on the system by authorised personnel wearing appropriate
protective clothing.
