5) Release the steam (approximately 2/3 sec-
onds) by turning the knob (Fig. 01; pos. 1) to
clean the inside of the steam wand as well.
Warning: Do not touch the steam wand
directly because it is hot.

5.4.1 Automatic steam delivery

(where included)
The machine is also equipped with automatic
steam delivery with temperature sensor (Fig. 01;
pos. 7); to activate it, press the button (Fig. 06;
pos. "a", "b" or "c"). The flow of steam can be
interrupted before it reaches the programmed
temperature by pressing the same key again.
To prevent the liquid from being sucked back into
the boiler, discharge the steam using the key (Fig.
06; pos. "a", "b" or "c"); this procedure must al-
ways be performed before and after use.
Each key (Fig. 06; pos. "a", "b" or "c") can be
assigned a different temperature profile and air
bubble consistency for the liquid being heated.

mended to use milk at a temperature of
5°C (41 °F).

5.4.2 Automatic steam clean

(Fig.11)
An automatic steam clean can be performed by

Connect one end of the tube (Fig. 11; pos. 1)
supplied with the machine to the coupling (Fig.
11; pos. 2) and the other to a container with a
capacity of approx. 1 litre filled with water and/
or detergent at a maximum temperature of 50°C.
The display will show the following menu:

If the washing is performed, the display will show:
the peristaltic pump is powered at maximum out-
put, drawing in hot water and/or detergent; dur-
ing this phase the steam solenoid valve is not fed.
The cleaning programme has a time-out of 180
seconds; if
