5.3 Coffee preparation
1) Wait until the machine reaches the correct tem-
perature for coffee delivery, signalled by the
switching off of the orange led (Fig. 01 pos 15).
2) Remove the filter-holder of the machine and:
Capsule Model: introduce the coffee capsule into
the single-spout filter holder (Fig. 02; pos. 16).
Pod Model: introduce the coffee pod into the single-
spout filter holder (Fig. 02; pos. 17).
Ground Coffee Model: introduce the ground cof-
fee with the proper measuring spoon (Fig. 02;
pos. 20), into the filter holder (Fig. 02; pos. 18)
with one or two-cup filter (Fig. 02; pos. 21/1-2)
depending on the desired number of coffees;
eventually press the coffee powder by applying a
slight pressure with the appropriate tamper (Fig.
02; pos. 19).
3) Reconnect the filter holder to the assembly (Fig.
01; pos. 2).
4) Place the cup under the coffee delivery spout (Fig.
01; pos. 12).
5) Press the coffee switch (Fig. 01; pos. 9) until the
desired coffee quantity is reached.
6) Press the coffee switch (Fig. 01; pos. 9) again to
stop delivery.
Warnings:
- Do not remove the filter-holder when the appliance
is working, the delivery assembly is pressurized.
- Do not touch directly the metal part of the filter
holder because it is hot.
5.4 Hot water delivery
Failure to close the tap after normal oper-
ation can result in damages to the heating
element for which the Manufacturer is not
responsible.
During the following procedure the hot
water delivery from the assembly is usual
1) Place a container under the steam/water delivery
pipe (Fig. 01; pos. 3).
2) Open the steam/water tap (Fig. 01; pos. 1) and
press the coffee switch (Fig. 01; pos. 9).
3) After delivering the desired amount of water, close
the steam/water tap (Fig. 01; pos. 1) and press
the coffee switch (Fig. 01; pos. 9) again.
5.5 Steam delivery
Failure to close the tap after normal oper-
ation can result in damages to the heating
element for which the Manufacturer is not
responsible.
For steam delivery perform the following operations:
1) Press the steam switch (Fig. 01; pos. 10), turning
on of the red (Fig. 01; pos.11) and orange (Fig 1;
pos.15) leds.
2) Open the steam/water tap (Fig. 01; pos. 1), dis-
charge water for about 10 seconds (Fig. 01; pos.
3), in order to partially empty the boiler to allow
the expansion of the steam volume.
3) Close the steam/water tap (Fig. 01; pos. 1) and
wait until the orange led (Fig. 01; pos. 15) is
switched off.
4) Dip the steam/water delivery pipe (Fig. 01; pos.
3) into the drink to heat and open the steam/wa-
ter tap (Fig. 01; pos. 1).
5) After heating the drink, discharge a little steam to
clean out the sprayer hole.
6) Close the steam/water tap (Fig. 01; pos. 1) and
press the steam switch (Fig. 01; pos. 10), turning
off of the red and orange (Fig. 01, pos.11/13)
leds to stop the steam function
After each steam delivery, you need to fill
the boiler as follows:
During the following procedure the hot
water delivery from the assembly is usual
1) Check that the steam switch (Fig. 01; pos. 10) is
in Off position, red led off (Fig.1, pos. 11).
2) Place a container under the steam/water delivery
pipe (Fig. 01; pos. 3).
3) Open the steam/water tap (Fig. 01; pos. 1).
4) Press the coffee switch (Fig. 01; pos. 9) up to the
delivery with continuous flow of water from the
steam/water delivery pipe (Fig. 01; pos. 3).
5) Press the coffee switch (Fig. 01; pos. 9) and close
the steam/water tap (Fig. 01; pos. 1).
The machine is ready for normal operation.
5.6 Switching off
Press the main switch (Fig. 01; pos. 14).
