Transport and hitching to
the tractor
3.1 TRANSPORT
The machine can be easily transported
over long distances, on a suitable vehicle:
trucks, trailers, railway cars, etc.
DANGER
Loading and unloading the machine
can be very dangerous operations
unless they are carried out with the ut-
most care: have all persons who are not
involved in the work move well away;
delimit and clear the loading area; make
sure that the available means are fi t
for the job.
Also make sure that the area in which
the work is carried out is clear and that
there is an adequate «escape route»,
i.e. a safe, free zone the operators can
quickly access if the machine should
drop. These operations must only be
carried out by persons trained to carry
out this sort of work.
Before proceeding with the loading opera-
tions, make sure that the vehicle used is of
the type approved for this type of transport
and that it possesses the capacity to bear
the weight of the machine. Consult «TAB.
2 - TECHNICAL DATA» for the dimensions
and weight of the machine. This informa-
tion can also be used to make sure that
the machine is able to pass down narrow
passage-ways.
3.1.1 How to lift the machine
Harness the machine in the points indi-
cated by the decals (Fig. 8 and 9) and lift
it. The machine must not be lifted more
than 20 cm from the ground during this
operation.
WARNING
After the machine has been transported
and before removing the ropes, make
sure that the machine's condition and
position do not constitute a danger
hazard.
Having ascertained this, remove the ropes
and chocks, then unload the machine in
the same way as it was loaded but work-
ing through the various phases in reverse
order.

Transporte y enganche en
el tractor
3.1 TRANSPORTE
La máquina puede ser transportada fá-
cilmente, incluso a grandes distancias,
con adecuados medios de transporte:
camiones, remolques, vagones ferrovia-
rios, etc.
PELIGRO
Efectuar las operaciones de carga y
descarga de la máquina con mucha
atención, ya que pueden ser muy peli-
grosas: alejar las personas no autoriza-
das; liberar y delimitar la zona de carga;
verifi car la integridad y la idoneidad de
los medios a disposición.
Se deberá verificar también que la
zona en la cual actúa la máquina esté
libre y que exista un «espacio de fuga»
sufi ciente, es decir, una zona libre y se-
gura, en la cual sea posible desplazarse
en caso de caída de la máquina. Dichas
operaciones deberán encomendarse
siempre a personal capacitado para
este tipo de maniobras.
Antes de efectuar las operaciones de
carga, controlar que el medio disponible
esté habilitado para este transporte y que
tenga la capacidad de soportar el peso de
la máquina. Consultar para ello la «TAB.
2 - DATOS TÉCNICOS» para conocer
la dimensión y el peso de la máquina.
Estos datos resultan también útiles para
controlar la posibilidad de pasaje de la
máquina en eventuales pasajes obligados
o estrechos.
3.1.1 Elevación de la máquina
Enganchar la máquina en los puntos
indicados en los adhesivos (Fig. 8 y 9) y
efectuar la elevación; durante esta ope-
ración la máquina no se deberá alzar del
suelo más de 20 cm.
ATENCIÓN
Después de efectuar el transporte y
antes de quitar todos los bloqueos a
la máquina, controlar que el estado y
la posición de la máquina misma no
constituyan un peligro.
Quitar luego los cables, los tacos y efec-
tuar la descarga con los mismos medios
y modalidades utilizados en la carga,
operando en sentido inverso.
