How to operate the mower

Your tractor is equipped with an operator presence
sensor key. With the engine running and the
cutting set actuating lever engaged, any attempt
by the operator to leave the seat will automatically
switch off the engine. You must sit on the seat in a
centralized position in order to prevent the engine
from starting to turn off or to completely turn off
when the tractor is operated on rough terrain or
on slopes.
1. Activate the mower blades by operating the mower
drive lever at the maximum height of the mower
deck;
2. Select the desired height with the mower deck
adjustment lever.

Acceleration control

The throttle control is on the left side of the tractor
panel. It controls the engine rotation; on some
models, when pushed all the way forward, you
can control the choke. The speed remains constant
according to the position. See Image 10.
When the blades of the tractor are actuated, the
lever must always be at maximum acceleration
(FAST, with rabbit drawing).
If the engine is operated at any speed below the
(fast) maximum speed, it will lose efficiency.
Maximum speed (FAST) provides better cutting
performance.

Operation of any tractor can result in the release of foreign objects into the operator's eyes,
causing serious injury. Always wear protective eyewear and ear protection when operating
your tractor or making adjustments and repairs.
We recommend the use of a wide-view mask or safety glasses over ordinary glasses.

Choke control

On some models, move the throttle lever fully
forward to activate the choke. Other models have
the choke control on the left side of the panel and
are triggered by pulling on the handle. Activate the
choke to close the airflow of the carburetor and to
help start the engine when it is cold.

Start key

The start switch is responsible for starting the
engine. Insert the key and turn it clockwise to the
START position. Leave the key in the ON position
after the engine has started. See Image 11.
