9.8.2 Redefined programming keys:
(Refer to Figure 11).
When in the programming mode, some of the
interpreter desk keys are redefined as
programming keys.The redefined keys are as
follows:

9.8.3 To enter programming mode

Ensure that the system has been
initialised. If the desk is initialised the
display shows
DESK NOT INSTALLED,
Note: Only one desk can be
programmed at the same time.
To enter the desk in to its "Programming"
mode proceed as follows: (refer to figure 11)
- Press keys 'Pre-select b
'Outgoing B
' keys simultaneously.
The Installation mode is shown as follows:
Installation mode, press
'Floor' to enter or 'Mute'
to clear, use 'Relay select
knob to select option and B-
select '<>' keys to select
next or previous function

Press the 'B-Select keys
to scroll through and select
the required Installation menu.
Once in the chosen menu, rotate
the 'Relay select' knob
highlight the required selection.
Arrow brackets <....> highlight
the chosen entry. If this function
is not available, press the 'Mute'
key to clear a previous setting. A
previous setting is displayed
surrounded by square brackets
[....].
To input and confirm the
selected entry press the 'Floor'
key
. Once entered the
selected entry is surrounded by
square brackets [....].
Press the 'Mute' key
a previous setting. Pressing this
key throughout the programming
mode allows a previous settings
to be cleared ready for new
input data and input errors to be
corrected.

to operational mode
