Problem: the motor becomes very hot. Cause: the motor was damaged during preparation.
Remedy: do not continue to use the motor. Always have a spare motor available.

Mounting gripper (as per option 3)
Grippers are available in various designs. The gripper shown here is not supplied with the Morcellator set;
it is an optional accessory. Detailed instructions for assembly and preparation are included with the grip-
per.
5.3
Mains connection
Risk of electric shock
Connect the device to an earthed AC mains system that conforms to IEC guidelines only. Connect the
device to a power supply that corresponds to the connection values on the type plate on the back of the
device.
Risk of damage
Do not switch on the control unit and the other equipment until all cables have been connected.
Otherwise the equipment may be damaged.
The device is not water-proof.
Keep the device away from liquids. Keep the mains connection socket dry. Do not use the device if liquid
penetrates it.
Connecting the power cable
Switch off the power switch on the back of the device ("O" position).
Plug the included power cable into the socket on the back of the device.
Plug the other end of the power cable into the power socket.
