5. Reinstall the components in the reverse order of
disassembly.
Caution
Gasoline and solvents with low ignition point are
highly flammable substances and cannot be used
to clean filter elements.
Coolant
Recommended coolant model: FD-2.
The total coolant capacity is about 1.9L
When a new motorcycle leaves the factory it has
been equipped with coolant. During maintenance,
check the height of coolant level in the expansion
kettle.
When the coolant becomes turbid or reaches the
maintenance period, please entrust the mainte-
nance department of the QJMOTOR dealer to
replace the coolant in time.
The coolant expansion bottle is located in the mid-
dle-right side of motorcycle, and the coolant level of
expansion bottle should be checked frequently.
When the engine is turned off and cooled down,
check the expansion kettle coolant.
During the inspection, make
sure that the motorcycle is in a
horizontal plane and keep the
motorcycle upright. Observe
whether the coolant level is
between the H and L marks. If
the coolant level is below the L
mark, remove the expansion kettle lid plug 1 and
add the coolant, or go to the maintenance depart-
ment of dealer to add coolant.
Warning
Add coolant only when the engine is turned off and
cooled down. To avoid burns, do not open the coolant
filler cap before the engine has cooled down.
Because the cooling system is under pressure. In
some cases, the substances contained in coolant are
flammable, and an invisible flame may be produced
when ignited. Serious burns may be caused due to
the burning of coolant that has leaked out, hence it is
necessary to prevent coolant from leaking on the
high-temperature motorcycle components and parts.
As coolant is a highly toxic liquid, so it is necessary
to avoid contact and inhalation of coolant, and keep
it away from children and domestic animals.
