Engine idle speed adjustment
The stepper motor configured in the motorcycle
automatically adjusts the idle speed to an appropri-
ate range. If adjustment is required, please contact
the maintenance department of QJMOTOR dealer.
Driving chain
The service life of driving chain depends on proper
lubrication and adjustment. Improper maintenance
may cause premature wear of driving chain and
sprockets. Frequent maintenance is required under
severe conditions of use.
Driving chain adjustment
Adjust the drive chain to make the sag of the chain
28-35mm every 1000km. The chain may need to be
adjusted frequently depending on user's riding con-
ditions.
Warning
The above suggested is the maximum adjustment
interval. In fact, chain should be inspected and
adjusted before each riding. Excessive slack in the
chain may cause chain accidents or serious dam-
age to the engine.
Please adjust the chain as fol-
lows:
• Support the motorcycle with
a support frame.
• Loosen the rear axle nut 1.
• Loosen the lock nut 2.
• Rotate the adjusting bolt 3 to the right or left to
adjust the slack in chain, and align the front and
rear sprockets with the center in a straight line
while adjusting the chain. Each chain adjuster is
engraved with fiducial mark (A) to help user with
the adjustment process. Please check to make
sure that the fiducial marks on both sides of the
chain are on the same level of scale mark. After
aligning the fiducial marks on both sides and
adjusting the slack in chain to 28-35mm, re-fix the
rear axle nut and perform a final inspection.
Notice
After replacing it with a new chain, both sprockets
must be checked for wear and replaced if necessary.
During regular inspections, check the following con-
ditions of chain:
• Loose pins
