• Damaged roller

• Knotted or seized links

• Adjust the slack in chain
If the above-mentioned fault occurs on the chain,
the sprocket may most likely cause damages.
Check the following items on the sprocket:
• Excessively worn gear teeth
• Broken or damaged gear teeth
• Loose sprocket fixing nut
Driving chain lubrication
Driving chain grease should be used as a priority for
lubrication. Driving chain grease can be purchased
from most of motorcycle stores, and it can also be
replaced by engine oil or other lubricants. Dip the
joints of chain links so that the grease can penetrate
among the chain plates, pins, bushings and rollers.
Brake
The motorcycle is equipped with front and rear dual-
channel ABS disc brake system. Correct braking oper-
ation is very important for safe riding. Remember to
check the braking system regularly; and this inspec-
tion should be performed by a qualified service center.
Brake adjustment
1. The free stroke of front brake
grip end should be 10-20 mm.
2. Measure the distance that the
brake pedal moves before and
after the brake starts to work.
The free stroke should be: 20-
30mm.
Friction plate
The key to checking the friction
plate is to see whether the fric-
tion plates in the front brake cali-
per 1 and rear brake caliper 2
are worn and wear exceeds the
notch at the bottom of groove 3.
If wear exceeds the notch, the
friction plate should be replaced
with a new one.
Brake fluid
After the friction plate is abraded,
the fluid in the brake fluid reser-
voir will be automatically injected
into the hydraulic tube, thus
causing the liquid level to decrease accordingly.
