The front brake fluid reservoir
is installed above the right
handle. If the fluid level is
lower than the lower limit line
(MIN) in the reservoir; add
the designated brake fluid;
the rear brake fluid reservoir
is in the middle of the right side of motorcycle,
ensure that the fluid level of reservoir is between the
(MIN) and (MAX) lines. If the fluid level is lower than
the MIN line, add the designated brake fluid.
Replenishing brake fluid should be considered a
necessary item for regular maintenance.
Caution
DOT No.4 brake fluid is used for this motorcycle.
Do not use the residual fluid from the opened cylin-
der and the brake fluid left over from the previous
repair; because the old fluid may absorb the mois-
ture in the air. Be careful not to splash brake fluid
on the paint or plastic surface, because it may
erode the surface of these substances.
Braking system
The following braking systems should be checked
every day:
• Check the leakage problem for the braking sys-
tems of front and rear wheels.
• Maintain a certain counter-support force for brake
lever and brake pedal.
• Check the wear condition of friction plate. If the
wear exceeds the notch at the bottom of groove,
replace two friction plates together.
Warning
If the braking system or friction plate needs to be
repaired or replaced, we recommend that you submit
this work to the service center They are equipped
with a full rang of tools and skilled techniques to do
this work in the safest and most economical way.
When the wheel disc friction plate is just replaced
with a new one, first grab and release the brake lever
several times to allow the friction plate extend to
restore the normal counter-support force of handle
and make the brake fluid circulate stably.
