Oil level and oil change
Before starting the engine,
check the engine oil level.
When checking the oil level,
make the motorcycle stand
on a flat ground, and observe
whether the liquid level is
between the scales L and H
through the oil sight glass. When the engine oil level
is below the lower scale line L position, open the
upper oil filler cap 1 and add the engine oil to the
upper scale line H position.
Changing oil and oil filter
Notice
When the engine oil is changed, it should be car-
ried out under the condition that the body is sup-
ported by the support frame (to ensure that the
motorcycle is on a horizontal plane and keep the
body vertical) when the temperature of the engine
is not yet cooled, to ensure that the engine oil is
drained quickly and completely.
Engine oil capacity is about 3.2L
and it is 3.0L when replacing
1. When draining the oil, place
the drain basin below the
drain position and remove
the drain bolt 1. After com-
pletely draining the oil in the
tank, re-install the drain bolt
with a torque of 20-25N.m
and press the following Steps
to replace the oil filter 2:
• Hold the oil filter with the
special tool for removing
oil filter to rotate it coun-
terclockwise, and then
remove the oil filter that
needs to be replaced.
• Wipe the mounting sur-
faces of oil filter and
engine clean with a
clean cloth.
• Use a new oil filter of the same model and
apply a layer of lubricant to the O-ring (A).
