START
4.1
MACHINE START
Commissioning must be carried out by a specialist Engineer, in the presence of the Installer
and an experienced Operator.
The specialist Engineer will test the equipment, carrying out checks, calibrations and
commissioning according to the applicable procedures falling under their responsibility.
The experience Operator must address questions to the specialist Engineer in order to
acquire the necessary information to be able to carry out the control and operation activities
that will fall under their responsibility.
4.2
CALIBRATION AND TUNING PROCEDURES
At the first machine startup the operation control devices may need calibration and tuning.
These activities - the main among which are indicated below - must be carried out by
specialist personnel:
Air flow calibration;
Cooling circuit parameter calibration;
Humidifier calibration (accessory);
4.3
START
1.
Check maintenance clearances and safety distances.
2.
Check and adjust the air flow.
3.
Measurement of the electrical absorption of the fans.
4.
Check the SUPPLY VOLTAGE: Check that the mains voltage does not exceed +/-
10% of the machine nominal value.
5.
Check the BALANCING OF THE PHASES: Check that the balance between the
phases does not exceed 2%. Otherwise, contact the electricity distribution company
to solve the problem.
INFORMATION
Since the fan needs to maintain a minimum air flow, for safety
reasons, as soon as the unit has power supply the fan starts to
rotate. Avoid to turn off the power supply of the unit unless it's
necessary, in order to keep a minimum air flow.

METHOD OF USE
5.1
USE PROVISIONS AND WARNINGS
The day-to-day use of the equipment does not require the presence of the operator, who
must only intervene to carry out regular checks, in case of emergency, or in case of planned
starts and stops.
If these activities are carried out consistently and correctly, good long-term performance of
the machine and the equipment will result.
