Operating manual
Device is in operation.
The switching frequency of the internal electronics functions within an
audible range. The noises are due to reasons of technical design and not
do affect the device function.
Using the device with a monitoring unit
If you use a monitoring system, you also have additional function checks.
For more details, refer to the technical documentation for the monitoring
system.
If inputs are not used, transfer of induction in the monitoring system can
lead to values .

Checking the device while in operation

Prerequisites
SmartConnect is in operation.(see Chapter 7.3, page 49)
|
Required tools and measuring devices
Device key.
|
Clip-on ammeter for direct current, measuring range 0–200 A.
|
Voltmeter, measuring range 0–1000 V
|
Note the following:
All measuring devices and cables must have protection class CAT II
|
(1000 V) in accordance with EN 61010-1.
Risk of fatal injury due to high voltages
Death or serious injury could result when working on high-voltage and
high-current electrical systems and live parts.
Cover or shield any adjacent live components. Note the following:
|
The power source of the photovoltaic system is always active
|
during daylight.
Risk of fatal injury due to lack of assistance
In the event of an accident a second person can lend assistance.
Only carry out work if a second person is present.
|
Checking the string connections
1. Measure the voltage of every string. Note the following:
Due to parallel switching, the string voltages must be identical.
