The DC disconnect is switched off (Off).

The central inverter is isolated.

The cut-off points of the terminals are completely closed.

Risk of fatal injury due to high voltages
Death or serious injury could result when working on high-voltage and
high-current electrical systems and live parts.
Cover or shield any adjacent live components. Note the following:

The power source of the photovoltaic system is always active
|
during daylight.
Risk of fatal injury due to lack of assistance
In the event of an accident a second person can lend assistance.
Only carry out work if a second person is present.

Risk of fatal injury through disregard of safety instructions
If the sequence of steps for installation and the safety instructions are not
followed, the device may be permanently damaged and electrical
accidents may occur with serious health consequences.
Observe the sequence of procedure steps for installation.

Commissioning
1. Connect the auxiliary power supply and, if applicable, the external
string switch-off system.
The string status LED indicators light up green for approx. 1 s.

The fan starts up. Note the following:
If the date of manufacture of the SmartConnect (relay module) is

before May 2010, the fan is not thermally controlled. The fan starts
up as soon as the auxiliary power supply is connected.
If the date of manufacture of the SmartConnect (relay module) is
|
after May 2010, the fan is thermally controlled. The fan starts up if
the auxiliary power supply is connected and the temperature
exceeds the limit value.
2. Switch the DC disconnect to On.
The LED indicator of the DC disconnect lights up.
