SmartConnect
Operating manual
Following mechanical installation of the SmartConnect, immediately:
connect all necessary cables,
close all metric screw connections, and
seal off unrequired metric screw connections with the sealing plugs
supplied.
Never store or operate the device with open cable lead-throughs.
Tighten the metric screw connections after installing the cable. Ensure
that you use the correct torque:
Too little torque leads to insufficient strain relief, which may allow
moisture or dirt to penetrate.
Too much torque damages the seals, cables and metric screw
connections.
Connecting the mains cable
Prerequisites
The DC disconnect is switched off (Off).
You have ensured that the device is voltage-free. Switching the DC
disconnect to Off does not guarantee that the device is free of voltage.
The central inverter is isolated.
Additional safety measures have been checked and put in place where
necessary.
