WARNING
!
If the device and pump is being used in hazardous
zones, requiring devices complying with "Equipment
Protection Level" (EPL) Ga (corresponds to 1G Zone
0, for example), only the Viton hose (order no.
12 03 150) should be used with a maximum length of
30 m.
CAUTION
!
Pump operation only with filter (order no. 83 19 364)!
Otherwise there is a risk of damage to the pump.
If no filter is used during pump operation, the warranty
on the pump becomes invalid.
After positioning the holder (pump), a functional test
(see page 7) must be conducted on a successfully
completed pump test.
1. Switch on the X-zone 5000 (see "Switching on the
instrument" on page 38) and use the holder (pump).
If the device is in the ON mode, the pump will be
automatically switched on via a switching contact on the
holder (pump).
Pump LED flashes red/green.
2. Connect
the
sampling
hose to the water trap of
the hose set (order no.
68 05 473) and screw the
connecting
bush
clockwise onto the filter.
3. A pump test will then need
to be performed. The
pump
test
will
start
automatically.
