I.1.1 Machine identification
The identific ation data is s tated on the serial number plate. T his is
affi xed in proximity of the elec tric contr ol board. T he s erial number plate
must not be removed for any reason. The unit must be destroyed in the
event of scrapping. The number below the CE mar k indicates the
notified body that has evaluated the conformity of the appliance and the
provisions of the 97/23/CE Directi ve (Pr essure Equipment Directive).

I.2 Intended conditions of use
The TCHVBZ units are water-cooled monobloc water c oolers with semi-
hermetic
screw c ompressors.
The TCHVIZ units are soundproofed c hillers.
The TCHVBZ-TCHVIZ units are availabl e in the set- up for functioning in
heat pump mode via inversion on the water circuit.
Their use in envisioned i n air c onditi oning s ystems where cool ed water
(TCHVBZ-TCHVIZ) or hot water (TCHVBZ-TCHVIZ is necess ary in the
heat pump mode s et-up with inversion on water circuit).
The units ar e designed for indoor installation.
The units comply with the follo wing Directives:
2006/42/CE M achinery Directive;
2006/95/CE Low voltage Directi ve;
2004/108/CE Elec tromagnetic compatibility directi ve;

The mach ines have been develop ed and designed
exclusively for indoor inst allation.
If outdoor installation is required, it will necessitate
modifications wh ich mu st be evaluated b y our
technical office.
Segreg ate the unit if in stalled in areas accessible to
persons under 14 year s of ag e.

The unit will function correctly only if the
instructions for use ar e scrupulously follo wed, if
the specified clearan ces ar e comp lied with during
installation and if the functioning r estriction s
indicated in this m anual are strictly adh ered to.

Standard functioning
o The functi oning limits graphics is valid for temperature differenti als
T at the evapor ator and condenser equal to 5°C.
o On reques t, the units c an be supplied for the producti on of c ooled
water to temperatures below 5°C.
Temperature differentials p ermitted through the exchangers:
o Temperature differential at the evaporator T = 3 ÷ 8°C
o Temperature different on the condenser T = 3 ÷ 8°C
