MODE
By pressing ENTER and then the UP/DOWN keys , it is possible to
modify the unit address.
I.7.9
Prolonged shutdow n
During long mac hine standstill periods, the unit must be elec trically
isolated by acting on the automatic master s witch (IG) positi oned to
protect the entire plant.
All the water c ontained in the circuit must be drai ned in good ti me.
During installation, consider mi xing the water in the circuit with the
correct proportion of ethylene gl ycol to guarantee protec tion against
freezing (see SECTION II: INST ALLATION AND MAINTENANCE).
I.7.10
Start-up after prolonged shutdow n
MODE
At leas t 8 h before starting the unit, apply voltage by cl osing the
auxiliary switc h inside the electric control board (protect the auxiliaries
controlled by the voltage V 230-1-50) and by acti ng on the master
switch i n order to power the el ectric resistances for heati ng the oil in the
compressors guards (the resistances are disconnected automatic ally at
ever y machi ne start-up).
Before starting the unit, p erform the follo wing checks:
MODE
• the power s upply voltage must c orrespond with that requested,
stated on the machine pl ate, with variations within ±10%. T he
unbalanci ng of the phase voltages must be c ontained withi n 3% ;

water contained in the system may freez e.
IMPORTANT
Machine start-up must only b e performed b y
qualified staff in Compan y authorised wo rkshop s,
enabled to operate on this t ype of product.
DANGER !
Always act on the automatic master switch (IG)
positioned to protect the entir e plant before an y
maintenance oper ation, also if only an inspection.
Make sure that no one accid entally supplies po wer
to the machine, lock the automatic m aster switch
(IG) in the zero position.
