Instructions for the repair and replacement
of components
• Always refer to the wiring diagrams enclosed with the appliance
when replacing el ectrically powered components. Always take c are to
clearly l abel eac h wire befor e disc onnecting, in order to avoi d making
mistakes later when re-connec ting.
• When the machine is started up again, al ways go through the
recommended s tart-up proc edure.
• Following a maintenance interventi on on the unit, the liquid-humi dity
indicator (LUE) must be kept under c ontr ol. After at leas t 12 functi oning
hours of the machine, the refrigerant circuit mus t be completel y " dry ",
with green c olouring of the LUE, otherwise the filter mus t be repl aced.
II.6.7.1
Emptying the low pressure circuit -
Maintenance of the evaporator and/or the
compressor (pump - out)
• The s ystem circulation pumps must be running during the operation;
• By-pass the mini mum pressure s witc h, eliminating the pr otecti on and
the i nter vention ti ming;
• Close the liquid coc k at the output of the condenser;
• the unit must be made to func tion until the low pr essure manometer
reaches the val ue of 0.25 bar;
• Switc h the unit off;
• Chec k that the after a few minutes , the pressure value meas ured
remains constant, otherwis e repeat the unit re-start phas e.
II.6.7.2
Replacing the Drier Filter
• To replac e the drier filter, empty the low press ure side circuit (see
PUMP-OUT).
• Once the filter has been replaced, evac uate the l ow press ure circuit
again to elimi nate any trac es of non-condens able gases whic h may
have entered the s ystem during replac ement.
• It is advisable to chec k that ther e are no gas leaks before restarting
the mac hine for nor mal wor king.
II.6.7.3
Top-up / Replacement of Refrigerant Charge
• The units are ins pected i n the factory with the appropriate
functi oning load. T he l oad restore or i ntegration considers the
environmental c onditions and mac hine functioning.
• With the unit running, any top-up of refrigerant fluid c an be
perfor med in the l ow press ure branc h, before the evaporator, usi ng the
pressure points set-up. Perform top- up c ompl ying with the liquid
indicator to c hec k the clarity of the fl uid, with total absence of air
bubbles.
• After any mai ntenance operations on the refrigerant circuit and
before restoring the gas charge, wash the s ystem thoroughl y, whic h
envisions the followi ng.
• install an antiacid filter on c ompressor intake and make the unit work
for at l east 24 h;
• chec k the degree of acidity and replace the refrigerant fluid and oil if
necess ary and make the unit work for at least 24 h;
• remove the anti acid filter c artridge.
