Intended use
These instructions for use describe the following test kits:
Aerotest HP
HP USA
HP NF
HP NOx
Alpha
Navy
The product is used to determine the quality of the breathing
air provided by a high-pressure system or low-pressure
system (e.g. compressor or compressed gas cylinder).
MultiTest med. Int.
The MultiTest med. Int. can be used to measure contamination
in compressed air, laughing gas, carbon dioxide and oxygen,
in accordance with USP (United States Pharmacopoeia) and
European Pharmacopoeia requirements.
The following systems can be used at high pressure (max.
300 bar): HP, HP USA, HP NF, HP NOx, Navy.
The following systems can be used at low pressure (max.
15 bar): Alpha and MultiTest med. Int.
WARNING
The product must (with the exception of MultiTest med Int.) be
used only for breathing air in accordance with legal standards
such as EN 12021.

Danger of an explosion or a severe fire if oxygen escapes

Only use the product outside buildings or in very well ventilated

Smoking and naked lights are forbidden in the vicinity of the
product. If an escape of oxygen is suspected, turn off the
product immediately and ensure that the O
the ambient air is no more than 23 %Vol. and that any clothing
worn is well aired for at least 15 minutes. Comply with the
national regulations on handling oxygen.
WARNING
The measured gas disperses freely during the measurement.
The device may only be used in well aired rooms or in the open
air.
Observe the national laws and guidelines for maximum
workplace concentrations. When measuring oxygen, it must
be noted that the maximum concentration of oxygen in the
room must not exceed a value of 23 %Vol.
