8.2 TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
The machine does not start
(STOP button off)
During the stand-by or
preservation at 4°C phase,
the LCD display turns off.
During the cooling phase, ice
is formed on the walls of the
tank.
The beater disc unhooks
during machine operation.
The machine works
intermittently during cooling.
MIXING in tank is very noisy.
The machine does not wait
for the end of the
pasteurization cycle and
starts over.
The machine leaks the
product from the tap.

PROBABLE CAUSES
Master switch open
Electrical anomaly
Fuses blown
"Energy saving" function active.
Product insufficient
Insufficient MIXING in tank
Anti-freeze parameter incorrect
The beater disc was mounted
backwards
The beater disc is worn.
Beater shaft rotates the wrong
direction.
Air-cooled machines: air condenser
dirty or fan faulty.
Water-cooled machines: no
condensation water.
Bronze bush not sufficiently
lubricated.
Bronze bushes or transmission shaft
worn
Electrical black-out
Tap assembled incorrectly or not
closed all the way.
REMEDIES
Close the switch
Contact the technician
Contact the technician
Press any key to reactivate the
display.
Work with at least 1/3 the
maximum amount of mixture
foreseen for each PEB model
Remove the MIXING reduction
disc.
Set MIXING mode is too low.
Contact the technician to change
the P6 parameter in machine
programming.
Assemble it correctly.
Check the beater disc and
replace if necessary.
Contact the technician to check
the connection of the phases in
the plug.
Clean the condenser with a brush,
check functioning of the fan and
the installation conditions on page
9.
Make sure there is water in the
water system to which the machine
is connected. Check the pipes and
cocks.
Lubricate the bronze bush.
Contact the technician to check
and/or replace them
Find out the causes of the
electrical black-out
Check assembly and gaskets
and make sure it is closed all the
way.
