Making Miter Gauge Auxiliary Facing
(Fig. 70)
The Miter Gauge 14 has pre-molded features
that allow for the attachment of an Auxiliary Fac-
ing 105. To make the Miter Gauge Auxiliary Fac-
ing 105, it is recommended to select a smooth
straight wood board that is 3/4" thick, 3" high,
and desired length.
1. Using the Miter Gauge 14 as a template, drill
5/32" (4 mm) diameter holes though the
board.
2. Attach the board to the Miter Gauge 14
with two round head Wood Screws 106,
No. 12x1-1/2" or M6 x 35 mm (not included).
Be sure the screws never protrude above the
outside surface of the facing.
Be sure the facing does not interfere with the
proper operation of the Barrier Guard Assembly
25.
NOTE: When bevel crosscutting, attach the fac-
ing so that it extends to the right of the Miter
Gauge 14, and use the Miter Gauge 14 in the
groove to the right of the Blade 32.
