The Tractel

anchor post is not intended to be disassembled
and reassembled.
Prior to the achieving this work, the installer must organize its site
so that work is carried out in compliance with safety requirements,
particularly in terms of labour regulations. It will set up the individual
or collective protection required for that purpose.
Individual or collective protection should be set up for that purpose.
When disassembling, handling and transportation are at the user's
initiative and expense.
If the storage of components of the disassembled post is to be on
pallets placed on the terrace roof, the installer must ensure that
it can accommodate the weight of the pallets prior to removal.
A layout drawing for pallets on the terrace must be provided.
The provision of appropriate slings and means of handling pallets
is the responsibility of the user or installer responsible for this
intervention.
11. Periodic inspections and
maintenance

11.1 Periodic checks

The anchor post is not PPE. It is a researched and tested anchor
point to secure two users in compliance with the BS EN795-A/2012
and TS 16415-A/2013 Standard from 1 to 5 people for compatible
posts using EN795-C/1996 compliant lifelines, and is therefore is
not subject to any legal obligation to periodic inspection.
Nevertheless, Tractel
®
strongly recommends an annual audit of the
good state of conservation of the anchor post.

each operation in the area protected by the anchor post.
