In any case, manufacturer manuals for each element must be consulted for more
detailed instructions on use, maintenance and cleanliness.
NO repair should be done on the mixing system while there is voltage in
its motor.
Before disassembling any part of the equipment, electrical supply must
be disconnected from the control panel.
Before any operation/action equipment surface and its components
should be cooled to avoid burns caused by direct contact with hot
surfaces.
In those cases where you work with food regulations (FDA or EHEDG)
and whenever there is any risk of product contamination in case of
leakage, food oils and greases should be used to lubricate elements.
The indicated intervals are guidelines, since they depend on several
factors. It is the client's responsibility to revise the periods to carry out
each operation and to establish a maintenance plan according to the
equipment's use, the products used, the working temperature, etc...

10.2 MOTORS
Tracking
You should check regularly that the motor is in good condictions:
Clean enough to facilitate heat dissipation and reduce the possibility of

overheating
All parts are properly assembled (fan protection, terminals cover, cable
-
glands, etc.)
Motor condition is good (no bumps, rust, embedded dirt, presence of wáter
-
or moisture, etc.)
Motor works properly (no noise, excessive temperature, excessive vibration,
-
etc.)
Bearing lubrication
Usually motor bearings are greased for life so it covers the whole life of bearings,
requiring no special mechanic maintenance.
In case bearings are not greased for life there will be a regreasing device and it will
be indicated in motor's plate.
