TEHCNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SKID FOR TEMPERATURE CONTROL

6.1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF SKID

With the VCR vessel and MET tank is also supplied a skid which integrates all the
valves, pneumatic actuators and accessories needed for the cooling and heating
process.
Skid consists in a stainless steel structure of 1050x520x1682 mm (Length x Width x
Height) and has the following connections:
- SKID Chilled water outlet
- SKID Chilled water inlet
- SKID Steam inlet
- SKID Drain outlet
- MET Steam outlet
- VCR Steam outlet/SKID Chilled Water Inlet
- SKID Condensates outlet
- MET Steam inlet
- VCR Steam Inlet/SKID Chilled Water Outlet
Valves control is performed by a PLC and a touch screen and for the temperature
regulation in heating process there are pneumatic regulation valves (4-20 mA).
The skid has also a compressed air inlet in order to ensure the properly drainage of
the piping.
