The barrier fluid is water containing 5% of propylene glycol.
The pressure in the seal circuit should exceed by approximately 2bar
the working pressure in the pump's chamber.

Safety Devices of Barrier System
Barrier system has the following safety devices to ensure the proper operation of
the mechanical seal's cooling system.
There is a temperature probe that allows the control of barrier system's
temperature and, in case of detecting an excessive temperature, enables
automatically the passage of cold water through the barrier system or, in case of
detecting maximum temperature, the equipment is stopped automatically.

To ensure that the barrier system has enough pressure for its operation, there is a
pressure gauge with switch contacts, for fluid pressure visualization in barrier
system. In case of detecting a pressure under the set pressure, the equipment is
stopped automatically.
