Attention!
As soon as the System Electric Hand recognises a fully charged 757B20/757B21 Energy-
Pack or 757B35=* MyoEnergy Integral, it automatically switches to Li-Ion battery techno-
logy. Once this has happened, only this technology should be used to operate the system.
If an 757B15 Ottobock X-ChangePack is employed after the control has switched to Li-Ion
battery technology, the battery can not be used to its full capacity. The 757T13 Ottobock
MyoSelect can be used, however, to reset the System Electric Hand control for use with
X-ChangePack. For operational security and reliability, only 757B20, 757B21, 757B35=*
or 757B15 Ottobock Batteries are to be used.
As delivered, the System Electric Hand's default setting is optimised for the X-ChangePack.

Description of Control Modes – SensorHand Speed
Notice: A brief "OPENING" signal will immediately stop both the SensorHand Speed's Auto-
Grasp response and the FlexiGrip function at any time.
Control Mode 1: DMC plus Auto-Grasp
Requires: 2 electrodes
Control with two electrodes
This control mode corresponds to the DMC plus control with integrated "virtual hand switch" (Dynamic Mode
Control), and additionally features the Auto-Grasp SUVA Sensor Technology. The grip speed and grip force
are determined by the strength of the EMG muscle signal. After gripping once with maximum force, the EMG
signal required to open the hand will be set to a higher value ("virtual hand switch"). This reduces the risk
of the hand opening due to unintentional muscle contraction. Gripping security for situations such as when
holding silverware will be increased.
Proportionally controlled by the OPENING electrode.
Opening:
Proportionally controlled by the CLOSING electrode.
Closing:
Example 1: A gentle muscle signal applies the smallest grip force (10 N) to the object. If the sensor rec-
ognises that the object is slipping, it automatically increases the grip force up to 50% higher
than the initial grip force (15 N), as necessary.
FlexiGrip becomes active when a 20 N force is applied when moving an object within the hand.
Once the object has been repositioned, the SensorHand Speed reverts to the previous grip force.
Example 2: A stronger muscle signal creates a more powerful grip force. If the sensor recognises that the object
is slipping, it automatically increases the grip force until the object is held firmly (up to max. 130 N).
