All manuals and user guides at all-guides.com
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Sterile lavage solution bag is empty.
Sterile lavage solution bag incorrectly
installed.
Pressure Infuser not pressurizing.
Sterile lavage solution Flow Roller
Clamp on tubing is incorrectly
adjusted.
Tubing Flow Roller Clamp is closed.
Air leakage from gauge, inflation bulb,
air bladder or T-fitting.
Clogged Handpiece Adapter.
Clogged Scaling Insert.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the sterile lavage solution bag.
(Lavage bag must not be used on multiple
patients.)
Verify that the lavage solution bag is centered
in the pressure infuser clear sleeve.
1. Check that the pressure release valve (on
manual inflation bulb) is fully closed.
2. Pump up the infuser bag sufficiently and
regularly as instructed in this manual.
Pressure gauge should read from 50 to
150 mm Hg.
Adjust the Flow Roller Clamp for acceptable
flow from the Cavitron
Insert.

Adjust the Tubing Roller Clamp to allow fluid
flow.
1. Inspect for leaks and correct tubing
connection leaks.
2. If the air leak cannot be eliminated, replace
the Pressure Infuser assembly.
1. Detach the lavage tubing from the
handpiece adapter to confirm lavage flow
from the tubing.
2. Check handpiece adapter for clogs.
3. If the clog cannot be cleared, replace the
handpiece adapter.
Remove the insert, open Roller Clamp
and test for lavage flow. If there is sufficient
lavage flow without the insert, replace with
a new Cavitron
Insert.
