When installing the spark plug, always clean
the gasket surface and use a new gasket.
Wipe off any grime from the threads and
tighten to the specified torque.
- Spark plug gap: 0.6-0.7 mm(0.024 - 0.03
in)
- Tightening torquefSpark plug): 25 Nm
(2.5 m*kg, 18ft*lb)
NOTE:
A plug with very white center electrode
porcelain color could indicate an intake air
leak or carburet ion problem.

NOTE:
There is a hole at the bottom of the air
cleaner case. Any dust or water collects in
this hole, be sure to empty the hole and
clean the air filter element and air cleaner
case.
