Tool transport

Disconnect the tool from the power cord (12) before carrying it. In case of long transports keep the tool in its packaging.
WARNING!
Use the tool only for the purposes described in par. "Product description". Any other use may cause injuries.

6 MAINTENANCE

6.1

Routine maintenance

WARNING!
Before performing any routine maintenance operation, switch off the battery with the ON/OFF button (11) and
disconnect the shear power cord from the battery (1).
All the maintenance operations which are not described in this manual have to be performed by a CAMPAGNOLA
S.r.l. Authorised Service Point.
The routine maintenance operations may be carried out
Blades adjustment
Select the CLAMPING function in the 2nd menu.
Tighten or loosen the nut (23).
Check the result obtained at least twice by pressing the trigger (15).
COBRA PRO: clamping must be between 6 and 7.
PONY PRO: clamping must be between 4 and 5.
A value 0-2 means the blade is too loose, while 9-10 it is too tight.
General information
Before any maintenance operation:
Switch off the battery pack (1).
Disconnect the cord (12) from the battery pack (1).
Wear heavy-duty protective gloves.
Blade sharpening
After the first half hour of use, you must sharpen the moving blade (17) with the supplied stone.
Revive the cutting edge of the moving blade (17) every 3 hours of work.
To correctly sharpen:
Place the sharpening stone at a 45° angle respect to the moving blade (17) (picture I).
Starting from the inside, follow the cutting edge towards the outside.
Repeat the operation 8 to 9 times.
WARNING!
Do not sharpen the fixed blade (18) and the back of the moving blade (17).
Replacing the moving blade (17)
Carry out the following operations in order:
Unscrew the screws (13) to open the cover (14).
Unscrew the nut (23) and remove the washer (31).
Remove the geared segment (24) and the moving blade (17).
Replace the moving blade (17).
To re-assemble the blade, carry out the above-mentioned operations in reverse.
Adjust clamping with the CLAMPING function (see par. 5.1).
Replacing the fixed blade
Carry out the following operations in order:
Carry out the first three phases in the previous paragraph.
Remove the cutting blade (17).
Unscrew the blade pin (25).
Remove the screw (29).
Replace the fixed blade (18).
