Heat buffer:
• Do not expose the silicone o-rings on the handles to the flames of a gas stove.
• Effect of the heat buffer:

• Loss of the o-ring does not limit the function of the heat buffer or the cookware.
How do you use your luno
cookware?
®
Browning:
The high-quality protectal-plus sealing will prevent foods from sticking. This means that the cookware is ideal for
the gentle cooking of delicate foods like fish, mushrooms, risotto, or cheese sauces.
1. Rub a little oil into the pot (using 3-4 drops on a paper towel).
2. Heat at medium temperature. Place the food in the cookware and brown on all sides.
Braising in the roaster:
Braised foods are especially aromatic and tasty because of the liquid that is added. Simply brown the roulades,
goulash or pot roast, then add some liquid, cover and cook. The heated liquid condenses on the inner side of the
lid with the help of the condensate-plus feature and then drips back onto the food being cooked.
Healthful stewing
Cooking foods in their own liquids and with little fat supports wellness-oriented nutrition. Stewing preserves nut-
rients, vitamins and minerals, as well as color, aroma, and the food's own flavor. If possible, do not lift the lid while
the food is cooking, and make sure that the liquid does not completely vaporize, or the food could burn.
