Sterilisation and storage

Sterilisation should be carried out in compliance with EN 13060, class B

Please observe the instructions of the device manufacturer.

Prior to sterilisation, the contra-angle has to be cleaned, disinfected and
lubricated with oil.

For sterilisation, please make sure to seal the contra-angle in a suitable
sterilisation packaging for sterile articles in compliance with EN 868-5.

Please make sure that the device to be sterilised is absolutely dry.

Store the sterile device in a dust-free and dry place.

Approved sterilisation methods

Please observe all specific guidelines, standards and provisions in your country

Steam sterilisation class B with sterilisers as per EN 13060.
Minimum sterilisation holding time 3 minutes at 134 °C or

Steam sterilisation class S with sterilisers as per EN 13060
Must be expressly authorised by the manufacturer of the sterilizer for
sterilisation of contra-angles.
Minimum sterilisation holding time 3 minutes at 134 °C

Accessories

The equipment used must be suitable for dental instruments and contra-angles.
For example: W&H Service Oil F1, MD-400 and ISO-E spray nozzle with spray adapter for
handpieces and contra-angles
