HOW MANY DISPENSERS ARE NECESSARY PER FEEDING
First, we need to know the density of the product we are going to add to the forage. If the density is
unknown, we can easily discover it in the following manner: Fill a 1 liter container with the product
being used (concentrate, feed etc) and weigh it. The measured weight is the density in kg/liter.
Now, we can find the required number of dispenser for the feeding as follows:
To demonstrate the calculation, we can use the following situation as an example:
- Total feed per feeding = 200 kg
- Product density = 0.7 kg/liter
- Nogueira dispenser capacity = 650 liters.
The calculation is as follows:
Dispenser capacity in liters X product density = 650 liters X 0.7 kg/liter = 455 kg
Total feed per feeding = 200 kg = 0,4
455 kg
In this case, we need 0.4 of a dispenser per feeding.
Maintenance
Your forage wagon requires a minimum amount of maintenance to achieve perfect operation and
maximum durability. The following are some essential maintenance measures:
- Keep I free of remnants of materials.
- Keep it lubricated.
- Keep the unloader conveyor belt properly stretched.
Before long stoppages, we recommend the following:
- Wash the wagon completely.
- Lubricate it.
- Store it in a place protected from the sun and rain.
Disconnect the forage wagon from the power take-off and remove the ignition key
before performing any maintenance or adjustment jobs.
Keep the maintenance area clean. Wet or oily floors are slippery and can be

Park the machine on a flat location and chock the wheels.
Whenever replacing the screws and nuts, always use the same specification as
the original parts.
