Commissioning

4.1

Unpacking

1. Remove the strap and securing clamps from the pallet
as well as the cardboard packaging.

After unpacking, check that the TCE 4460 is in perfect
condition and that none of the components exhibit
any signs of damage. In case of doubt, do not perform
commissioning and call in a qualified engineer and/or
the seller of the machine.
2. Take the standard accessories and the packaging ma-
terial out of the transportation crate.

Dispose of the packaging material correctly at an ap-
propriate collection site.

Installation

4.2.1

Removing the cover

1. Remove the screws from the side cover.

2. After disconnecting the ground cable (B), remove the
cover (A).

4.2.2

Raising the mounting column

For the work steps described below, use a suitable
DR50 model 1 m hoisting strap (safety factor 6:1) and
hoisting crane suitable for raising the tilting mounting
column.
Damage warning!
The straps could damage the supply hoses
of the cylinder or add-on components of the
TCE 4460.

Take care when fitting the straps.

1. Remove nut (A) and washer (B).
2. Remove pin (C).
