P.T.O.: independent from the gearbox at 965 r.p.m. with engine at 3600 r.p.m.
Wheels: tyres 4.00-8 – 16-6.50/8
Rotary tiller: 58 cm standard; adjustable at 37 – 50 cm.
Handlebar: Side and height adjustment – reversible.
Track: external measurements: with tyres 4.00-8, 42 cm; with wide steel wheels, 36-44 cm.
Attachments: rotary tiller, cutting bar, snow thrower, plough, furrower, rotary mower, towed trailer,
rotary tiller support wheel, tow bar, wheel weights, metal wheels, container trailer.
1) Check that the machine has not been damaged during transport.
2) Remove the walking tractor from its packaging paying attention not to damage levers and
cables. Use a lifting machine (capacity: 200 kg). Before putting the walking tractor on the ground
mount the wheels and fix them tightly using the appropriate fixing nuts (fig. 3. n. 16).
3) The walking tractor is delivered with the handlebar bent over the engine (sickle-bar version). If
the handlebar is to be used with the rotary tiller push the lever (fig. 3, n. 8) and slowly turn the
handlebar 180°, paying attention not to damage the cables. Then insert the gear levers in the
eyelets (fig. 3).
4) Before connecting the attachment grease both the PTO and the 3-teeth coupling, then mount
the attachment (e.g. rotary tiller, cutting bar) by completely inserting the attachment into the
coupling of the walking tractor. To fix the attachment turn the lever of the quick coupling into
position "BLOCCATO" (LOCKED – fig. 2).
5) Add engine oil (please refer to the appropriate manual).
6) Check oil in the gearbox (fig. 6). If necessary add MP 80W90 oil, quantity 2,2 litres.
7) Add oil into the oil-bath air filter (for versions provided with this type of filter), use the same oil
type as the engine oil (fig. 8).
8) Verify the tyre pressure according to the table provided.
4.00-8
5.00-10
16-6.50/8
9) For versions equipped with the electric starter check the battery voltage, it must not be lower
than 12,5 volt. If necessary recharge the battery at 12,5 volt on slow charge for two hours.

IMPORTANT!

During assembly take care not to get the polarity of the battery reversed.
10) Fill the tank with fuel using a funnel provided with a fine filter.
11) Check the various liquid level with the machine in horizontal position.
Before starting the engine always check:
the oil level inside the engine (Fig. 5) and the oil level inside gearbox; the level check cap is
on the upper cover (Fig. 6); the oil level must be between the two notches.
that all screws and nuts are well tightened especially those of the hoes and those fastening
the attachments to the machine.
that all levers are in neutral position.
That the PTO lever is not engaged. IMPORTANT: when the lever (fig. 4) is pressed
down the PTO is not engaged and the attachment is off, when the lever is released
the PTO is on and the attachment starts rotating (see PTO label – fig. 1).
that the dry air filter is clean (fig. 7). Important: do not blow the cartridge with compressed
air. If it is clogged, the cartridge must be replaced.
