Gas connections
Warning
Before performing the connection, the qualified installer should make sure that the data specified on the
appliance rating plate corresponds to the data for the type of gas available.
The appliance is calibrated, set up and tested in the factory for LPG gas (G30/G31 butane/propane)
Caution!
Connection to the gas supply, any work required on the gas circuit inside the appliance and all procedures
relating to the channelling of exhaust gases must be performed by technicians registered with the relevant
authorities as required by law for the country in which the appliance is installed. These technicians must, nev-
ertheless, be aware of and apply the regulations relating to the safety of repaired products and safety in the
workplace. In light of the above information, UNOX accepts no responsibility for any situation resulting from
work carried out in an unprofessional manner, or from the incorrect intepretation or application of regulations
or this manual.
Connections
T|he appliance must be connected in compliance with current regulations for the country in which it is installed.
The appliance must be fitted with an upstream shut-off valve, in an easily accessible location.
Connection to the gas supply, by means of the ¾" ISO 7-1 attachment on the bottom left-hand side of the
back panel of the oven, may be carried out using rigid pipes or flexible hoses and by fitting an approved shut-
off valve.
If flexible hoses are used, they must be made using steel; you will have to make sure that they are not placed
near hot areas and are not subjected to twisting and/or traction.
If using non-metallic materials (i.e. for the seals), they must be suitably certified and should conform to current
European regulations. Finally, make sure that there are no leaks in the gas circuit by feeding a soapy water
solution or a special foaming product through the connections. Never use a naked flame to look for gas
leaks.
