NOTE: Different factors affect the battery average life. For
example: the time of storage before acquiring the instru-
ment, the dive time, the use of back-illumination, the bat-
tery's quality itself, whose average life varies according to
temperature.
6.1. – DECOMPRESSION TABLES
At the end of a dive, the computer will continue processing
data for a subsequent dive. This is possible since the compu-
ter keeps recording nitrogen absorption of "standard" tis-
sues, taken as reference. Each tissue absorbs and releases
nitrogen at different speeds, indicated by the so-called
"hemi-saturation times" (the time taken to reach a tissue 50%
saturation). Archimedes II uses 12 standard tissues, on which
the mathematical model computations are carried out, in any
stage of dive, surfacing and subsequent dives.
6.1.1. – No decompression tables by the first dive

in a series.
